WAYS TO USE PAPERLENS
Find the detail your document is hiding.
Start with a specific question. PaperLens uses the uploaded file as context, so you can narrow a long document to the facts worth checking in the original.
- Find a name, date, amount, address, or reference number in a scanned PDF
- Search an image-based PDF whose text cannot be selected
- Locate the section that mentions a deadline, fee, renewal, or cancellation
- Read text from a photographed letter or notice
- Turn extracted document text into a summary and review checklist
- Ask where a specific fact appears and verify it in the source
Questions about pdf text reader.
Is this OCR?
For image-based documents, PaperLens uses AI to read visible text. For supported text-based files, it can extract text directly before analysis.
Can I turn my PDF into an editable Word file?
No. PaperLens explains document content; it does not currently export a layout-preserving editable Word version of your PDF.
Why are some words missing from my scan?
Low resolution, skewed pages, handwriting, or glare can make text difficult to read. Try a clearer image and compare the result with the source.
